Description

These required skills and knowledge will transform government services and public
administration including those who intend to pursue their trainings outside
Vanuatu. Development of this course with special skills and knowledge with
reason to achieve Vanuatu National Vision of “ A Just, Educated, Healthy  and Wealthy Vanuatu” through Vanuatu  ICT policy.

As stated in the intention to accredit application form and already submitted to
VQA and has been approved, the course is developed based on consultation
sessions between Edwards Institute of Technology (E.I.T.) trainers and
management staff with industry experts, through research in provincial skill
plans and individuals interview submitted while completing the intention to
accredit application form states clearly that E.I.T. should provide Advance
Diploma in Information system to interested participants who have completed
Year 13 general education with a good command of literacy and numeracy with
level 5 Certificates in Computing and a minimum of 17 years of age or at least
6 years work experience in a related computing area within a recognized
industry. 

Entry Requirement

  • Completed Year 13 (general education)
  • or Diploma in Computing
  • or at least 6 years experience in a related ICT field
  • A minimum of 17 years of age

Certification

All E.I.T courses are accredited by Vanuatu Qualification Authority and are recognisable throughout the Pacific region. To Successfully complete this course you must complete all units with an average score of 60% or higher in each unit assessed. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded an Advanced Diploma in Information Systems.
